INDOOR AIR QUALITY
(SOLUTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT)
Positive Input Ventilation (THE PIV) has become the UK's most popular alternative method of low energy, cost-effective homes, offices and commercial buildings ventilation!
Invented over 40 years ago, Radon protection UK have installed many loft mounted Positive Input Ventilation Systems. The (PIV) will provide the necessary ventilation to your entire house by using filtered air from within the loft space. Our PIV provides whole home ventilation using the Positive Input Ventilation principle, which introduces fresh filtered air into the dwelling at a continuous rate, encouraging movement of air from inside to outside.
CREATING A HEALTHY LIVING ENVIRONMENT
Positive Input Ventilation systems significantly improves indoor air quality by removing indoor air pollutants such as carbon monoxide, radon gas and keeping out external pollutants such as traffic fumes and pollen.
Other benefits of the system include:
-
Helps to reduce condensation
-
Improves air quality in your property.
-
Perfect for further reducing radon levels below 500 Bq m-3
-
Low Running Costs
-
Quiet Operation
-
7 year warranty

Hall Control Unit
-
For homes with lofts
A loft mounted positive input ventilation unit (PIV), involves the installation of a fan, typically in a loft or attic. The unit comes with hall control and optional heat support. This unique feature bestows the homeowner with complete control of the unit, without having to enter the loft space.
NO NEED TO OPEN WINDOWS TO VENTILATE
Clean, fresh air is continuously drawn in through the loft's natural leakage points, passed through the filters and fed into the property via a central hallway diffuser.
In case there is no loft or attic present, the fan can be installed on the internal side of an external wall as an alternative.
Positive pressure units are popular as they also improve the overall indoor air quality by reducing the relative humidity.
MOISTURE AND CONDENSATION ARE DRIVEN OUT:
The filtered air gently pressurises the home from inside out, forcing out the stale air.
Many properties suffer from condensation, elevated radon gas levels, mould growth as a result of high relative humidity, and a positive pressure system can alleviate this.
The installation does not require any changes to the structure of your property, and we can supply and install the unit for you. The unit will normally be installed within a day.
Wall mounted Positive input ventilation Unit - For properties with no loft space
Similar to the Loft Mounted Positive Input Ventilation Systems they use filtered external air to create a positive pressure in the property.
Based on the popular and low-energy Positive Input Ventilation principle, this range has been specifically designed to ventilate homes, offices and commercial buildings without lofts.
The Wall Mounted Positive Pressure Unit is designed to take fresh air from outside, clean the air and discharge it into the central hallway via a system of ducts.
The system introduces air into the home, office and commercial building at a continuous low rate, eliminating condensation dampness and forcing our indoor pollutants such as Radon gas and carbon monoxide. Allergens are kept to a minimum and outdoor pollutants such as pollen and traffic fumes are kept out. The results are a fresh and healthy indoor environment.
The aesthetically pleasing and compact unit is usually situated in a convenient location, such as a kitchen cupboard or hallway, and is ducted to a central location.
