The Air Things radon monitor is a pocket-sized electronic radon monitor that has an LCD display showing short term readings: Ideal for use in homes, the Air Things is an affordable way of monitoring radon levels to ensure a healthy home environment. The device displays the average radon level over the last 24 hours, 7 days and 365 days.
The Air Things digital monitor are extremely accurate (±5%) and are produced and designed in Europe. Its LCD screen display is powered by x3 AAA batteries and is simple to use as it takes measurements from one room to another in order to get a reading of the radon concentrations in your home. Simply insert the batteries to start measuring radon levels.
Radon monitors can give users an early indication of whether a room or building is above or below regulatory thresholds and determine quickly if radon remediation is necessary. As readings are continuously displayed there is no need to wait for results to be analysed at our laboratory.
Electronic radon monitors are usually recommended for obtaining short-term snap-shots of radon levels to assist in radon monitoring and remediation, both before and after radon measures have been fitted.
The Air Things monitors are not affected by dust or humidity and allow you to take the average daily, weekly and long term concentrations of radon levels in your home. Monitors can be placed wherever it is required with no cables needed.
The device should be left in place for at least 7 days before the first reading can be taken as definitive. During these 7 days, the monitor will be carrying out various readings using complex and refined algorithms. The longer the devices is left in place, the more accurate the long-term reading will become.
If you wish to move the device to a different room or property, there is a reset button to restart monitoring.
